Proud as a Peacock

This is a dark regular length denim, size 16, chest114cm or 45", I sewed peacock feather braiding along the waist etc, that is where "regular" ends! I spent four days drawing and hand embroidering the peacock and the feather above it. I used bugle beads and sequins with metallic threads and embroidery silks to make a very special jacket. I will not be doing anything similar as my poor hands can't hand sew for very long any more. As it took so long and used so many different trims and beading techniques it is more expensive than any other jacket I've done but it will last for years and be a talking point as you walk past.
